The service

ScanMyDoc is a free document data extraction tool provided as-is. You upload documents, our AI extracts structured data, and you download the results. No account is required.

Acceptable use

By using ScanMyDoc, you agree to:

• Only upload documents you have the right to process.
• Not use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Not attempt to circumvent usage limits through automated means.
• Not upload malicious files or attempt to exploit the service.

Usage limits

Free usage is limited to 10 documents per day per device, with a maximum of 5 pages per document and 10MB file size. These limits may change at any time.

Your documents

• You retain all rights to your documents and the extracted data.
• We do not claim any ownership of your content.
• Your documents are processed by Mistral AI for OCR and data extraction.
• Both original documents and results are automatically deleted within 24 hours.
• We do not store, share, or sell your document content.

Accuracy

AI-powered extraction is not perfect. Results include confidence scores to indicate reliability. Always verify extracted data before using it for important purposes. ScanMyDoc is not liable for inaccuracies in extracted data.

Disclaimer of warranties

ScanMyDoc is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanMyDoc and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
